ANKUR (syn: "bud") was established on 4th May 1975. It was one of the first few hospitals in Kandivli run by an Obstetrician & Gynecologist. It was from those days that it has been a pioneer hospital for healthcare for women. It has always been the motto of "ANKUR" to practice the Best of Medicine prevalent in that period. It has always been a leading hospital with first's in many areas. In Brief "ANKUR" is a bud of knowledge which will never stop growing. Doctors at Ankur Hospital span through two generations who believe in doing what is best for the patients. They believe in not taking any shortcuts. This has helped them earn the faith of generations of patients who believe in the "ANKUR" Model.
At Ankur we yern for Natural Birthing and lay ample of our efforts in seeing that all our patients understand the advantage of doing so.
The building where "ANKUR" was situated has gone for Redevelopment, hence the hospital was closed on March 31, 2022.
